Life can leave us feeling overwhelmed, stuck, and disconnected from ourselves and others. When something shakes our sense of safety and stability, old wounds and protective patterns may resurface. My goal as a therapist is to help you better understand your responses and move toward greater self-compassion and healing.
I believe deeply in the power of the relationship between client and therapist. I strive to create a space grounded in trust, compassion, and emotional safety where you can be vulnerable, explore your inner world, and take meaningful steps toward change. Real transformation happens when we can learn to attend to our emotional experiences without judgment and understand the needs our emotions are signaling.
My approach is integrative, combining psychodynamic therapy with experiential modalities such as Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) and Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP). When helpful, I also incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to offer additional tools to alleviate your distress.
Whether with an individual or a couple, my focus is on co-creating a relationship in which you feel deeply seen, understood, and met where you are. With couples, my goal is to help you recognize the patterns that keep you stuck and truly hear and feel one another beneath the conflict or disconnection. I aim to help you not only heal from past wounds but also recognize your inherent strengths and resilience.
I work with young adults, adults, and couples, and I am committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive space for people of all racial and cultural backgrounds, sexual orientations, and gender identities.
